Educational values, principles, and attitudes contribute to the development of a balanced and effective personality. They guide individual behavior in ways that serve society and promote positive interaction among its members. These values include moral and religious values such as honesty, trustworthiness, justice, benevolence, and piety; social values related to relationships among individuals and society, such as cooperation, tolerance, respect, and collective responsibility; as well as intellectual and cognitive values associated with critical thinking, curiosity, accuracy, creativity, and problem-solving.
Individuals acquire these values through continuous interaction with their surrounding environment. Family, school, religion, and society represent the primary sources for instilling values. The practical application of values through role models and participation in social, cultural, and religious activities provides students with opportunities to practice positive behaviors daily.
The importance of modern teaching methods lies in their emphasis on activity, application, and direct interaction between teachers and students. Methods such as practical classroom activities, group discussions, and real-life simulations help reinforce and instill values effectively. They also enhance critical and creative thinking skills and develop the ability to work collaboratively and solve problems.
The balanced integration of different types of values with effective teaching methods contributes to the development of a well-rounded personality characterized by moral, social, and intellectual awareness, enabling individuals to face life’s challenges and make sound decisions.
