Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement Guidelines

Once Nanar magazine confirms a violation of the magazine's publishing ethics, it addresses ethical concerns seriously by following strict, problem-specific practices as described below:

  1. The first procedure for journal editors is to inform the journal's editorial board by providing copies of relevant articles and a draft letter to the corresponding author requesting clarification in a non-judgmental manner.
  2. If the author’s explanation is unacceptable and it appears that serious unethical behavior has occurred, the matter will be referred to the Publishing Committee through the Editorial Board. After deliberations, the Committee will decide whether the issue is serious enough to justify a ban on future submissions.
  3. If the violation is less severe, the editor, based on the advice of the publishing committee, sends a letter of reprimand to the author. In the event that the research is published, the editor may ask the author to publish an apology in the journal to correct the record.
  4. The notification will be sent to the responsible author, and any work sent by the author responsible for the violation will be rejected by Nanar magazine.
  5. Authors are prohibited from serving on the editorial board of Nunar magazine or working as reviewers for the magazine. The magazine also reserves the right to take further action.
  6. In extreme cases, notifications will be sent to the authors’ institutions, and authors are prohibited from submitting their work to Nanar magazine for a period of 5 years.
  7. In cases of serious fraud that leads to the withdrawal of the research, a notice of withdrawal will be published in the journal and will be linked to the article in the online electronic version “Withdrawal” with the date of withdrawal.
