Nanar Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences (ISSN: 3007-1402; E-ISSN: 3007-1410) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the University of Hilla. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system to ensure the quality, integrity, and originality of published research.

The journal is issued quarterly and accepts original research articles and review papers written in Arabic and English. Since the publication of its first issue in March 2024, Nanar Journal has aimed to provide a reliable academic platform for researchers and scholars in the fields of the humanities and social sciences.

Nanar Journal covers a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to Arabic language, English language, history, fine arts, sociology, and related fields within the humanities and social sciences. The journal is committed to publishing high-quality scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and addresses contemporary academic issues.

All articles published in Nanar Journal are freely accessible without subscription or registration and are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

The journal assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to its published articles through Crossref (DOI Prefix: 10.64002), ensuring persistent identification, accurate citation, and long-term accessibility of its content.

The article processing charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts is 100,000 Iraqi dinars, and the average duration of the peer review and acceptance process is approximately 8 weeks.

Nanar Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences adheres to the ethical standards and best practices of scholarly publishing and follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
