Abstract

This study examines the mechanisms of combating ideological extremism in documentary films by analyzing the film "The Making of Extremism." Given the increasing use of media—particularly documentaries—in raising awareness and countering extremist ideologies, the research highlights how these films contribute to intellectual security and deconstruct extremist narratives.

The study aims to explore the concept of ideological extremism and its causes, analyze the messages and content presented in "The Making of Extremism," and assess the effectiveness of narrative techniques and visual strategies in enhancing the film’s impact on audiences. Additionally, it seeks to propose recommendations for improving the use of documentaries as a more effective tool in countering extremist ideologies.

The research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to study the film by analyzing and interpreting its various elements to understand its effectiveness in addressing ideological extremism.
