Al-Nukat Interpretation in Sibawayh Book

Abstract

Sibawayh is considered, with the unique opinions he presented on which the grammatical rules of those who came after him were built, and the ideas he proposed regarding the linguistic system and the Arabic language, the starting point in the linguistic thought of those who came after him. Many ancient and modern linguists have presented to us books and compilations related to Sibawayh’s book, which is labeled “The Book” in An attempt to bring closer, understand, facilitate and establish Arabic sciences. We cannot find a researcher or linguist who has not cited this heritage work, because it is the main reference. From which they draw their ideas.

One of the important books that came about it is the book (Al-Nukat fi Tafsir Kitab Sibawayh), by its author, Abu Al-Hajjaj, known as (Al-A’lam Al-Shantamari, 476 AH).
