This study aims to identify the effect of using interactive educational multimedia on improving the quality of learning among Geography Department students in the General Teaching Methods course at the College of Basic Education, University of Babylon. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach. A questionnaire consisting of 15 items based on a five-point Likert scale was administered to a sample of 80 students. The validity of the instrument was verified through face validity and content validity. Reliability was measured using Cronbach’s Alpha, which reached (0.89), indicating high reliability. The results showed that the overall mean score of the questionnaire was (4.05) with a standard deviation of (0.60), representing a high level. The One-Sample T-Test revealed statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in favor of the actual mean, indicating a positive effect of interactive multimedia on improving the quality of learning. The findings concluded that interactive educational media enhance students’ understanding, link theoretical knowledge with practical application, and develop critical thinking and learning motivation. The study recommends expanding the use of interactive multimedia in higher education and providing adequate training for faculty members to ensure effective implementation.
